Organized by the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce, Italian Restaurant Week is New York City’s first and only week-long celebration of authentic Italian cuisine. During the week-long initiative, a select group NYC's best Italian restaurants offer pre-fixe lunch, dinner, and gourmet wine pairing menus to diners, allowing the public to enjoy upscale, authentic Italian fare at special pricing.
Italian Restaurant Week is organized in partnership with OpenTable, the world’s leading provider of online restaurant reservations.
Italian Restaurant Week is part of the “True Italian Taste” project, funded by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development and executed by Assocamerestero in collaboration with the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad, in order to raise awareness of and safeguard authentic Italian food products. “True Italian Taste” is part of the “Extraordinary Italian Taste” initiative.
